Moving to the Country

The end of 2021 led to our family moving to the country. This has meant new surroundings, new adventures, and a new chapter in our story. It’s bitter-sweet leaving behind a community you love, or a house you poured so much blood, sweat, and tears into. And yet, we know that this is part of living faithfully, trusting and following after God as he leads by his Spirit.

We consider this an invitation.
It’s an invitation to take a deep breath.
It’s an invitation to slow down.
It’s an invitation to learn and grow.
It’s an invitation to walk alongside faith communities in this region, in Sarnia, London, Chatham, and all of the wonderful communities in between.

For me, it’s also an invitation to do a few things I’ve always wanted to do. I’ve already ordered my bees, and I’ll be looking after a hive starting this spring. I’m finally going to put ink to cloth as I start screen printing. It may begin with designs and shirts that I want to wear, but it might grow into something bigger over time. It was also time to formally launch Resolve & Flourish.

So here we are.
Looking back, it’s been a rich journey full of deep valleys and incredible mountain top experiences. I’m deeply grateful for the many people who have invested in me and in us, who chose to love our family, even when it wasn’t easy, and who continue to cheer us on and pray for us.
